Wow, I didn't realize that she was that old. One thing I do know is that she was one racist biootch. Here in NYC Mrs. Ferraro was well known. There were a few articles in the local papers regarding the negative statements that Mrs. Ferraro often made in reference to people of color. Oh well, rest in peace.

Yep, another bigot gone down in a suffering way, "blood cancer". This woman was desperate to become the 1st female president, she was divisive and treacherous in the same category with Hillary,Bachman & Palin. These kinds of women don't deserve to be in leadership. So desperate, she couldn't seek God repentance to heal her body. This woman did and said anything to get Hillary elected. Lady, I truly hope you sought repentance before you left this earth.

Quote by Geraldine Ferarro during the 2008 Democratic Presidential campaign:
“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," Ferraro told the newspaper. "And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is (Black). And the country is caught up in the concept."

Statement by President Obama on the Passing of Geraldine Ferraro:
"Michelle and I were saddened to learn about the passing of Geraldine Ferraro. Geraldine will forever be remembered as a trailblazer who broke down barriers for women, and Americans of all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether it was as a public school teacher, assistant district attorney, Member of Congress, or candidate for Vice President, Geraldine fought to uphold America's founding ideals of equality, justice, and opportunity for all. And as our Ambassador to the UN Human Rights Commission, she stood up for those ideals around the world. Sasha and Malia will grow up in a more equal America because of the life Geraldine Ferraro chose to live. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her husband, John Zaccaro, her children and grandchildren, and their entire family."

Racist. She hated President Obama from day 1 until her death and could not/would not accept the fact that our President is Black.
Another old & tired racist layed to rest.
One at at time.
She won't be missed by anybody.

I certainly won't be giving a second thought to her passing. She did nothing for me. I was taught that I had to work for a living not look for any privileged handouts. She rode the wave of white privileged feminist. She arn't a woman!

Typical gorilla response. Just because we used to piss on the corpse of your ancestors does not give you the right to disrespect this woman. I hope your children get raped and then commit suicide. Haha. Worthless jungle-bunny.

I'm black and don't see what was so wrong with Ms. Ferraro said about President Obama. It was her opinion, doesn't make it right but really, it wasn't offensive. I took it that she meant that a black man in a position in power at that time (2008) was popular and history making so that is why he would win over an old white man being his running mate. I respected this woman for being the first woman to run for the vice presidency just as I respect President Obama being considered the first black president.

@billW.
What wrong billW, hittin' ya where it hurts?
The world is changing. Deal with it.
Just consider the fact that with everything that Geraldine Ferraro stood for and has done in the world of politics, her lasting legacy will be remebered as a White feminine racist which erases her life's work and it tells of who she really was: a women who was a feminist but not for all women, only White women and not for any women of color in regards to advancements on women in the corporate world, throughout life and in other professional venues.
You see billW, it only takes a spilt second of anger and telling your truth in order to reveal who you really are instead of who you pretend to be and for Geraldine Ferraro, whose moment of truth was the reality; the potential changing of the guard regarding then Presidential candidate Barack Obama which came to reality only strenghtens my argument that many politicans are not honest in their "work for all people of this nation" bullshit but only serve the who they are and what they really believe: the White racist maters that support you.
And in America, history has proven that fact time and time again.
Geraldine Ferraro, a 50's and 60's inbred racist, dies at 75 and her generations of racism and it's hatred are now old, sickly and fastly dying off and within the next decade, many of her ilk and their corrupted racist mentatilities that continues to corrode today's youth with racist hatred, will be dead and buried in cemetaries stretched all across the country and for the progress of racial acceptence and intolernce for this nation, that's a really good thing.
Grim Reaper, continue the good work that you do.
