In part five of Blackvoices.com's week-long presentation of Juanita Bynum's new music project, 'Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh),' via Mathew Knowles' Music World Entertainment empire, the former Trinity Broadcasting Network televangelist talks candidly about her landmark sermon "No More Sheets," which has been re-released as a book to commemorate its 10th anniversary.
Take a look at our exclusive video of Bynum talking about how "Sheets" has transcended nationalities and can even be tailor-made for various socioeconomic classes.

There are 7 scriptures naming 5 women as prophetess. There is also 1 more scripture that says Jezebel called herself a prophetess, alluding to the fact she was a witch. Study to show yourself approved and see if Ms Bynum has the attributes of the true 5 prophetess in the scriptures or if she is the one mentioned in Rev 2:20 which was a false prophetess. Prayerfully, the Holy Spirit will reveal whether Ms Bynum has the fruit of the Spirit of God.

LOL, right Mrs. Parker!
No more enchiladas? WTF how ignorant is that? If I was Latina, I would be offended, no move tacos, burritos, enchiladas? How does she get no more enchiladas, watermelon, etc from the No More Sheets sermon? That's a bunch of bull; sounds like "branding/marketing preaching." She couldn't come up with something better? She could've just used the same sermon – dumb completely dumb.
My mother, an evangelist for 25+ years, hates that sermon with a passion. She thinks it’s 1) vulgar 2) degrading, and to this day she will tell anyone that it is a pointless sermon and Juanita never preaches about anything (except herself).
Juanita makes Christiandome look bad and what's even worse is she has a following! WOW, wake up church.
P.S. Someone tell her to stop wearing the ugly lipstick! OMG.

How can you dare to call her semons 'DUMB' . She is one of the most anointed preachers I have ever heard or seen! When youre saying stuff about her your saying stuff against the holyspirit. You must not be in the realm of the charismatic at all. And to see if she's a real prophet,...oh my gosh you've got to be kidding me. What churches have you been going to that are even half that on fire as she is. Just of course my opinion.

Apparently, "PayAttention" NOR her "evangelist" Momma would know God, even if He rented a room in their house!!!
Anyone who considers it vulgar, degrading and pointless to address the major, "secrets" of the church that Juanita Bynum candidly and transparently brings to the table, is downright blind, hypocritical and grossly ignorant!!!
The "church" - from Baptist to Catholic to Methodist to Pentecostal, et al - is in a mess today because of church leadership AND "follow-ship" who only want to hear and preach an acceptable, pretty, politically correct gospel instead of addressing the bitter, harsh, ugly and uncomfortable truths that are rocking people's lives and worlds!
Nobody wants to deal with incest, nobody wants to deal with AIDS, nobody wants to deal with family and spousal abuse, nobody wants to deal with homosexuality, pedophiles, perversion, sexual dysfunction and other forms of immorality; But the fact still remains that all of these issues not only exist but are plaguing the church almost at the same rate as they do the secular community. (And some of the churches that do have enough nerve to address such issues don't have the compassion, sensitivity or the knowledge to be able to handle them from a truly spiritual place)!
Church and religion leaves you feeling better, temporarily. But when you're confronted with those same issues down the road, you're right back at square one! Spirituality "restores" you - all the way down to your soul; meaning that it puts you back in your original, wholesome state! Not a lot of churches know how to do that, and not a lot of laity is willing to go thru the required process to get that!
So while your "evangelist" Momma keeps talking about Daniel in the lion's den, Juanita Bynum is digging in YOUR den by exposing the ugly side of life and teaching "us" how to succeed, using her own life as an example! That's commendable - not "vulgar!"
Most of "us" can't handle a Juanita Bynum because we are people who embrace the notion that it's important to LOOK like we got it "going on," rather than go thru the pain-filled process required to actually GET it going on!
Juanita is a different kind of animal who won't accept a substitute in place of the real thing, even in her own life, and she deserves mad props for challenging us as a people, not to allow anyone else to dictate how far we can and cannot go and what we can and cannot accomplish! (If you listened to the video that accompanies this article and still came away saying what you said in your post, there's not a whole lot of hope for you at this time - check back in about 20 years)!
The people who need a Bill Cosby and a Juanita Bynum will always reject them because denial is easier, more comfortable, more familiar and less painful than the harsh glare of truth!
Establish amendments, legislate preferences and pass laws until Jesus comes and still as a race, people of color will remain enslaved. Why? Because only the truth can make you free! And when we can reject flat out "honest-to-God,” butt-booty naked truth like the kind being borne by messengers like Bill Cosby and Juanita Bynum, we prove that WE CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!

You are right about the teachings (or lack thereof)of the church. However, Juanita is NOT IT! I don't care how you spin it, she is a false prophet who's nothing more than a motivational speaker with a gimmick. If she's truly about the Word and God speaking through her, then why all of this "extraness?", i.e. trying to profit off of her incident with her ex-husband, jumping on Obama's tailcoat to pitch herself to be the face of domestic violence, crying victim when she use to abuse her husband, and now signing with Mathew Knowles, etc... Come on. It's clear that the only thing "speaking" to her is money and cameras. She's a phony!

LOL, how dare you put Juanita Bynum in the same sentence as Bill Cosby. Completely different and the intellectual levels are absolutely non comparison. I understand Mary you are either her BFF or one of the many zombies of Juanita's Spell (pun intended). No More Sheets is about Juanita airing her indiscretion and completely tacky. The pulpit is not the place to be tacky. The problem with today’s leaders and most followers is that they are afraid to disagree with the T.D. Jakes (who by the way endorsed homosexuality) and Juanita Bynum’s. What’s really sad is so many black women follow the likes even if what they are saying and doing is questionable or wrong. It is time for the real church to stand up and say, "No you are wrong!" and not be afraid of the "establishment." The establishment of the celebrity preachers who are saying and doing things that do not represent the awesomeness and true power of Jesus Christ and his word. What you don't understand is that God holds his chosen vessels/pastors accountable for our souls. My mother is not afraid of Juanita or her cronies, she has guts and the spiritual insight to see things and she guards her sheep from prowls and tactics of the enemy even if it comes in the form of a prophetess.
Preaching the unadulterated Word of God deals with incest, AIDS, homosexuality, fornication etc... God is seeking such that would worship Him in spirit and in truth. He's not looking for fabricated images or raunchy/fancy sermons. That was a motivational speech. Women don’t need her to tell them to stop having sex, it’s in the Word of God.
Juanita broadcasted her lavish wedding on Christian network OK that was her right but to many theatrics and drama, but I thought it was beautiful. However, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” That marriage fell like tumbling blocks. Then they had the audacity to create marriage seminars . . . . Really! What is Juanita going to tell me about marriage and she’s been married um I don’t know maybe you have the total count. What’s even worse is her infamous Bishop/husband told the congregation to cuss and use foul language in the bedroom and used the bible to justify it, at one of these seminars and she stands up and agrees with him! Wow, and that’s the Christian standard you agree to follow.
I am so tired of Juanita and her fabricated image I could scream! I saw her in revival and she talked the entire time about her triumph after being allegedly abused and the new face of battered women and domestic violence. LOL! She doesn’t know what battered women really are, I worked with them and her statement was a complete offense. See this is the dumb stuff I’m talking about the ignorance, the lack of intelligence, don’t ever put Juanita and Bill Cosby in the same boat, two totally different class levels, Juanita wishes she had that kind of class. Juanita’s pride wouldn’t let her sit down and like I said before the bad thing about this is that she has a following. Wake Up Church!

Sorry, Mary, but Juanita Bynum can keep her pseudo-Christianity all to herself. She's fake, phony, superficial, and materialistic. (Recall how she insisted on having her 2 million dollar wedding televised)? I take issue with these charismatic, self-promoting media hogs who manipulate religion for profit. It's shameful how they intimidate single Black mothers/women to give more money in order to receive more blessings. (Go to any Black church: the women significantly outnumber the men). It's unfortunate that these televangelists continue to exploit Black women - and really, all women. They collect millions of dollars from those most in need; they drive their $100,000 cars; live in isolated, gated communities - and would never associate with the folks keeping them in business. No, I'm not hearing Juanita Bynum and her gang of thieves....
