For years, she was known as a prophetess, a best-selling author and a world-renowned vocalist with legions of international fans and followers. But in the summer of 2007, Juanita Bynum became the "new face of domestic violence" after a physical altercation with her then-husband, Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III, propelled her into the media spotlight.
Three years later, the former Trinity Broadcasting Network televangelist has picked up the pieces and is back recording music again. This time around, a brand-new opus, titled 'The Diary of Juanita Bynum,' is set for release at the top of 2011 via a partnership with Mathew Knowles' Music World Entertainment empire. On June 22, the eagerly anticipated single, 'Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh),' will be released.
In honor of our month-long Black Music Month celebration, Blackvoices.com presents an exclusive performance of the heart-felt ballad as a prelude to our week-long series of interviews conducted with the one and only Juanita Bynum.

Proverbs 11:22, Juanita.
It would be nice if she stopped with the drama.
Who was her soul crying to?
Please repent, Miss Bynum, and ask the LORD for help.
HE's the ROCK and SHIELD. HE's the HOPE of Glory.

She needs deliverance. She's confused.

All I see now is a husband beater. What prophet attacks his/her spouse after they have clearly walked away from a volital situation? I know why to leave a bad situation like her husband, yet this so-call prophetess didn't understand the meaning of walking away. A good husband for walking away; a bad wife for following him and not leaving him alone.

If Bynum is fake, or has gone in the way of the false prophets of old God will repay her to her face. However, the word usage you employed in expressing your thoughts concerning her clearly exposes what force fills your heart. Bynum is called to the body of Christ (saint's) as well as sinners, clearly according to your language you belong to the latter group, so perhaps you should repent like now, and receive the Holy Ghost, and then such words will not come out of your mouth."It is not what goes into a man, but what comes out of him that defiles him." The same opinion can be effectively illustrated in a Godly manner. Judge yourself and you will not be judged.

This is a perfect example of a religious spirit. It don't even resemble God.

1 Timothy 1:18-20 (New International Version)
18Timothy, my son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight, 19holding on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith. 20Among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to satan to be taught not to blaspheme.
Verse 19 is especially appropriate to this situation and circumstance. Miss Bynum is now shipwrecked on the island of 'self'.
