Gather with girlfriends and after we divulge the details of our dating life, drama at the office and those last ten pounds we need to lose we're onto the topic that leaves us with more questions than answers: our hair. It is indeed the thread that binds every black woman. Yet after conversation about it among friends, family and sometimes our coworkers, some of us still struggle through the trials that come with our texture.

In this week's BV Freestyle webisode, editors Tiffani, Sheryl, Lauren with special guests Amanda Diva and member LeBraatt let the cameras roll on our girl talk. We blow the wig off of black hair myths, from weaves blocking romance in the bedroom to corporate American barriers for women who wear their natural curls like a crown.
