Sometimes a drastic haircut doesn't fare out as well as we intend it to, but GT must say that Solange's results are nothing short of stunning. People insist on comparing her with her superstah of a sis, but I always believed that Solange had more control over her own style. Solange's makeover is absolutely infallible! Her beauty was hidden behind the hair and the constant sibling comparison! You are really able to see those full beautiful features...you feel as though you could swim in those eyes of hers.

I'd be the first to admit that I never thought Solange was pretty nor cute, but i'm totally wrong. WOW, she's prettier than her sister. Who would have thought removing all that weave would bring out her natural beauty. I've went through the same transformation in 95' and it takes guts and determination. A gorgeous, healthy, full head of natural waist length hair is my results and i'm loving every minute of it. I receive compliments and questions non-stop. Is that your hair?, Can I touch it? (of course not), How long did it take to grow? What vitamins and (or) hair products do you use? etc., but that wasn't the case in 95. I guess going natural is the "In Thing" now!

She is quite pretty. She looks really nice with that short hair. One thing about short hair is you reveal your entire face. Hers is beautiful.

I'm there and totally agree with her. It distinguises her frm the lime light of B and creates her own image and life in the industry. Life is too short to waste time on meaningless things. Im so proud of any woman who comes out of the sheltered frame, that society's pressure has persuaded, what should be hidden; yet, is actually true beauty. Especially, in black woman. BLACK WOMAN: WE ARE GOLD, WE ARE BRONZ, WE ARE POWER.

It is so nice to see a new trend setter and example as a Black woman in the glamuor spotlight media. Salongelooks beautiful and glamourous without all the weave hair, yet without lossing her own sense of style. It's great to be a leader.

Solange always had a pretty face even when she was wearing her hair long. I remember when Solange and La La was down in Miami in 2007 chilling at this Bistro restaurant with my nephew. I had the pleasure of speaking with her over the telephone. I told her then that she, her sis Beyonce and La La were all beautiful women.
Solange is now even more beautiful because of this hair cut. It definitely shows her natural beauty. You Go Girl. . By the way I loved your album especially that song called "Tony".
