President Barack Obama stood by his word. In his first political outreach in support of his $819 billion spending package, he visited Republicans on the Hill to push the proposal. He did this even though he would have won the vote in the House with just the Democratic votes he had in hand.
His repayment was that not one Republican joined him to support the package. ...
Let us see if President Obama continues to court the opposing party to keep his pledge to seek bipartisan solutions for the nation - or if he begins a less friendly course of doing business with Republicans.
He offered an olive branch last week and was rebuffed. Let's see how many more chances President Obama gives Republicans to repeat that action.

It's time to end the illegal wars in Iraq, Afganistan, and Pakistan. To continue make the Obama administration just as guilty of war crimes as the Bush administration.

I find it ignorant we are more concerned about an historical election then want is really at stake as a nation.
All of congress is responsible for this mess democrats and Republicans alike. This whole election was a diversion to avoid the major issues that are destroying the American People. Wake up what is the change that Obama promised? His cabinet is full of ex-Clinton administration, big labor bosses supported him, now the payback is to force the Freedom Choice Act for union workers, and this Bill really means workers will not have a choice. 1.3 million Abortions per year and now Obama overturned the ban on US taxpayer’s moneys to help fund international groups that perform and support abortions. Why is the government in the business of supporting, funding, killing the unborn and selling embryos? Maybe you do not believe in GOD and that will be
your downfall. Are rulers are corrupted and Obama is no different.
Our rights are being stripped away, how much more filthy and corrupted does America has to get before us the people do something about it… Pay attention to what is really going on, and I pray that you have the wisdom to be just and do what is right regardless of color. Our homes, our jobs, our rights are dignity and even our beliefs in God are being corrupted by a small minority. These are not the days of MLK, people believed in God back then and women were not aborting their children and the government was not in the business of killing babies. Banks were fair and lenders were not stealing and the goverment believed in God and cared about the people. Do you really think that $819 billion spending package is coming our way? I think again. Wait and watch the gas prices rise at the pumps again. Next
they will be telling us there is a shortage of oil.

It seems to me that everybody wants to blame, criticize, and offer their advise, but no one is willing to be in the hot seat but our President.

ANN,
I SHARE YOUR SENTIMENT. PRES. OBAMA IS IN A PRECARIOUS POSITION. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT HE'S
A GOOD PERSON. BUT AS YOU KNOW POLITICS ARE POLITRICKS. SO HE HAS TO PLAY BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE. WHICH MEANS THAT SOMETIMES HE HAS TO STRETCH THE TRUTH AND SOMETIMS DODGE OUTRIGHT LYING.
IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR AN HONEST PERSON TO
BE A GOOD POLITICIAN. HONEST POLITICIAN IS AN
OXYMORON. NOT TO PREACH TO YOU BUT SINCE WE ALL HAVE SIN NO ONE WILL BE FAULTLESS. I PRAY THAT WE CAN GET THE TRUTH TO PRES. OBAMA AND HE WILL ACT ON IT. SO, BE STRONG IN THE LORD MY SISTER AND KEEP UP THE FIGHT. AND REMEMBER WE HAVE A LOT OF SUPPORT. PEACE AND LOVE.
