How do you choose which magazine to buy? Essence is slick. They think you might just buy both.
The magazine's double-cover 56-page Obama tribute hits the stands Dec. 12 and contains a time line of his life, never before seen photos and a profile on the Obama children. The issue also has essays and commentary from Maya Angelou, Bill Cosby, Chris Rock and Gwen Ifill.
BrownSista.com says ESSENCE.com has a behind the scenes video of the photo shoot, too.

I will be buying Michelle's cover. She's look stunning. I still Obama though. But I have enough mags with him on the cover for now.

I agree I want the one with Michelle, but I bet you since I subscribe to Essence they will send me the one with Barack on the cover!! I got enough with him too. They make me sick with these two different covers!

Why can't it just be a double issue .you think in these hard times they would do that.but it is a collectors issue .I wonder if ebony will do the same what about oprah maybe she will have both of them on her cover.

I agree with Africa there should have been a double issue but I'll settle for this. We have a Black Family in the White House and it feels good to be able to say those words. So Essence Magazine you do what you do and be sure and have a magazine covering "Those Beautiful Children of the White House". (That could be the title)
