As the holiday season approaches, this week's Power List takes people from all walks of life: R&B sensation Beyonce', NBA leading-scorer LeBron James, Illinois Senator Jesse Jackson, Jr., Personal Aide to Barack Obama Reggie Love and recently "out" comedian Wanda Sykes.

Beyonce' makes every Power List, and why not? She is arguably the premiere female music artist in the world and an icon of R&B. She has it all - money, looks, fame and a famous husband, Jay-Z. Her new CD just dropped this week, aptly named- "Sasha Fierce," and boy is Beyonce' fierce. Check her out in AOL Studios. Wow!

LeBron James has been the king of the basketball court since high school and he has truly lived up to the hype. He is currently one of the leading scorers in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Looks like the Cavs are set for another deep playoff run this year thanks to James.

Illinois Senator Jesse Jackson, Jr., has been getting a lot of buzz as a candidate to replace President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat. Will he follow in Obama's footsteps? Keep an eye on Black Voices for the latest news on JJ Jr.

If you didn't know, Reggie Love, is president -elect Barack Obama's personal aide and confidant. Reggie has Barack's back, and now Reggie is a power player in Washington, D.C. who does more than hold Obama's Tic Tacs.

Wanda Sykes recently revealed that she was a lesbian. In today's media age, it can be difficult to "come out" as a lesbian or gay celebrity. Sykes truly has the power and courage to stand up for her feelings.
