Eat your heart out Denzel. GQ magazine has named Barack Obama "Man of the Year." The President-elect shares the honor with Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Phelps and Jon Hamm, who each have their own covers too in the magazine's latest issue.
GQ Deputy Editor Michael Hainey tells CBS News: "We had Ted Kennedy write the piece for us in the magazine about the senator. He said the torch has passed to a new generation. He really is. I mean -- he's young, he's vibrant, he's vital -- all those qualities of a GQ guy."
And GQ made the call for Obama to be MOTY back in October, win or lose on Election Day.
Look close. It would have been nice if GQ air-brushed OUT some of that gray hair Obama got on the campaign trail.

That title maybe a little premature, but I think he has already earned it because of the the way he has Inspired this generation of you people especially worldwide.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with gray hair? If you have it , then you earn it! Wear it with pride. I hope Obama's gray hair make's it the thing to have so that we can put "Just For Men" out of business!!lol

His hair is not merely gray. We are the generation that proudly sports natural silver highlights in our hair.

I hope he will use a warm black-brown tint real soon
by Revlon or Clairol. I also hope and pray all of
these leaks will stop soon relating to his appoint-
ments because is quite distrubing. I hope Michelle
sticks to the dresses and her little girls do not
continue to show so much arms and shoulders. They
are still little girls. I hope Michelle will wear
more dresses like the one she wore to the White House.

Yes, indeed Elect President Obama has definitely earned man of the year. It does me proud to have seen him make history so that in the furture my grand kids will read about him in the history books. I'm sure while the hair looks good, the reasons for man of the year award are far much more important then hair.

Wyllye Davys there is more to life than the superficial. It appears as if you limit your reality to looks. You are missing out on lifes' possibilities.

I pray the Obamas remain as they are ... gray hair and all. They will make mistakes, and they will learn from them, as we all do. We voted for them just the way they are and we love them just the way they are. Enuf said!
