Athlete: Gilbert Arenas
Position: Washington Wizards guard
Drama: Crazy, but apparently loveable
The Dish: Gilbert Arenas is a weird guy. It's actually a quality that makes him pretty funny and a fan favorite, but in some regards, weird does have its limits. In 2006, Arenas' on-and-off again girlfriend, Laura Govan, chased him all over our great country with the intent to embarrass and serve him a paternity suit during a televised game. He spent a chunk of the season hiding in hotel rooms under various aliases.
Weird? Not really.
Cat-and-mouse games come with the territory of being a highly paid athlete struggling with the concept of a condom. However, after all that drama the two reconciled, Arenas bought her a house near his in Northern Virginia and in March of '07 she gave birth to his second child. Procreating again with the woman who set out to destroy you ... that's not just a little weird, it's a touch of baby mama Stockholm syndrome.

Again, another story of a dumb ass black athlete. When will they ever learn that these women want nothing more than to have their baby for a BIG PAY DAY. These women are smart, I have to give them credit. Shakin that money maker.

I agree with Darrell;another dumb ass black athlete.These women just want a meal ticket for the next 18 years.Supposedly, Gilbert left her one time because she kept a dirty house. He is a very confused man. He should take some of that money and get professional help.

Sad to see as a woman . these women know what they are doing.Men wants sex and will to paid for it and for a little body exercise , but women wants the money, then they are no better than prostitutes.Men should protect themselves. yet, they are so excitely for a play. they dont think of the years late to come.As for Michael.Jordan wife, she knew what she was doing when she met Michael. women have to know women will be after their men.I can't see how a woman who aren't married to a man want his money. i think God i don't want a man for his money. My ex always told me his money wasn't coming any place he didn't stay. When i divorced him the lawyer asked what did i want . told him nothing as i had married a fool who would probably have knocked me off later if we stayed in the same town.He treated to kill me many times, thank God he took care of me. Probably after we separated and divorce if he would have seen me with another man,i wouldn't be here today. yet. i saw him with all sorts of women. . i pray for his souls . and wish the next woman the best . It's really not that weird he likes the drama and the idea that there is a woman who's self esteem is low enough to where she would follow him aroound the country to embarrass him. Why else would you have a second child with this woman? And to buy her a house even? Well that one I can understand providing his children with a secure roof over their heads was the right thing to do. He also knows that she will always be in his life no matter what. He wants his cake and ice cream as well, most of us do and with two children it seriously reduces her chances of being in a serious relationship with someone else in the future. And let's not forget that it's cheaper to keep her even if they are not married.
