Granted, the 50,000 commercials during the MLB Playoffs on TBS helped me remember this comedy sketch show was set to premiere.
Comedian Frank Caliendo, best known for his dead-on impersonations, was a regular on the late night sketch show 'Mad TV' for five seasons.
Now he has his own show (Tuesday's at 11pm), where he performs sketches in full makeup to go along with the characters he's impersonates.
NFL legend John Madden is probably one of his best impersonations, however my new favorite is his Charles Barkley.
The clip below is Caliendo on 'Inside the NBA' on TNT where he shows off his Barkley impersonation for the NBA Hall of Famer.
Apologies in advance if you find yourself saying "turrible" after watching the clip...

While watching the Baseball world series, TBS constantly advertised this "very funny" show named Frank TV. Before I watched the show, I viewed Frank C. on David letterman and Jay Leno, He was fuuuuunnnnny!
So I decided to put Frank TV on my DVR series recordings. Upon viewing my first show, I was surprised to see no live skits, just pre-recorded clips, MC'ed by Frank.
I have now seen 3 shows, and without exception they've been terrible! I maybe laughed once during all 3 viewings. It's not that Frank isn't a good impressionist, but the topics chosen are pathetic. Last night, he delivered a skit about Mary Tyler Moore, it was an insult to my intelligence. This was the last straw, bye bye Frankie boy, stick to the live impressions. If you want my review, Don't waste your time watching this, the writing is juvenile, the content is boring, and nary a laugh is to be found. Not to mention of 13 minutes of commercials for a 30 minute show.

LMAO!!! Wow, that dude is really wild, good but wild, FC is too funny, I havent had a chance to check his show out yet but after seeing this I will make a point to view it. His Charles Barkley is great.
