Comedian Katt Williams seems to think it's funny to wear a noose to a publicly televised black event, in the wake of Jena Six... Hmmm... That's the same logic that made him put this outfit together. Men: only Cam'ron can wear pink, and look where that got him.

I know this is a late comment to old stuff. However, I was just recommending Katt William’s new CD to my homey on how nice it is and he said he didn't support Katt Williams in any form or fashion. I asked Why. He stated that it was because of Katt's wearing of the noose at the BET awards show and the whole "down playin" of Black Americas’' struggles...". So, I wanted more insight on the incident that I missed and ran across this sight. FYI- I did see a portion of the award show when they (Jena Reps) came on stage. I was like, WHAT!?!
I thought it was just me who thought it was totally ridiculous to somehow parade the "Jena six representatives" around as if they did something right. They didn't do anything right; nor did the justice system. They sure as hell don’t deserve red carpet treatment. Have we (African American) nothing else more note worthy to showcase with regards to showing that we’re still fight racially inequality. There’s also disparity in sentencing for African Americans who sell/use crack rock vs. Whites who sell/use powdered cocaine. It’s no difference. They are both drugs; just in different forms. However, you’ll never see me celebrating crack dealers as celebrities. Be honest and tell me how you would feel if the Judge who lowered the initial extreme sentence, was celebrated at the Oscars. It wouldn't make sense would it??

This siut should be called exactly what it is..
FREE PUBLICITY!!! Not that he needs it, but look here we are blogging away about a pink suit with a emotion provoking tie. Part of me is like "give it a rest already", but the logical part of me says, way to brand youyrself, good marketing and publicity. Kat Williams ladies and gentlemen..

I wonder what he finds to be so funny about wearing a noose? How disrespectful! I guess we'll be hearing that he has a special meaning or message for us, just like NAS does. How are we to be taken serious when we have our people being fools and wearing nooses, and naming CD's the N-Word. I'm not gettin it.

Alexis honey....? I think that you are "quite" short of ideas for fashion issues to write about. I'm not sure (because you are so IN-famous to NOT have your picture associated with any of your articles) but I would bet money that you were not an African American, and if you are, your confused honey. Have you ever heard the term "making a statement!" Instead of thinking he was making a joke out of the Jena six, why doesn't your stupid a** feel that he was saying "Hey America, look at my people representin'...f*** that 1960 slavery, noose s*** you pulled, it's 2007, and my people are making money FASTER & GREENER than yours!!!
You need to wake up and smell "REALITY" baby, and take the time to find something credible and nonpolitical to discuss.

I'm guessing he's trying to make a statement, not quite sure what it is though.
