No character on 'The Wire' has grown the most during the last four seasons than Roland "Prez" Pryzbylewski (Jim True-Frost).Married to the daughter of officer Stan Valchek, Prez is clearly out of his element as an officer but doesn't get fired because of his relationship with Valchek.
The decision to move Prez out of the Major Case unit and into the Baltimore public school system was a great decision by producer David Simon.
Even with no experience as a teacher, Prez was able to make an impact and earn the respect from his classroom full of knuckleheads.
The relationship between Prez and Duquan Weems was powerful and you could sense the emotion and attachment that he had for his students.

It a shame that The Wire was not nominated. This just shows that Holllywood has yet a long way to go. Face it they do not take the urban story seriously and they do not see the huge impact that it has on all of us regardless of ethnicty.

My feelin is that sex is what they think still make people watch,but as for me an advid t.v watcher because im a home bound person and dont get out much,I watch a lot of t.v But I Love the wire so I knew they wouldn't give it its do. Anyway if Ican do any thing please let me know. I need something to do with my days.

What a perfect role for prez He should of been a teacher
all along. I like that fact that he didn't give up on
those kids and that he stood his ground with them. I hope
prez will find happiness in school system & have relationship continiue to grow with his wife and the
kids from school district.

Here we go separating the races again by the black race. How long are we going to play this game ? I am down right sick of this, They come out with a simple show and all the sudden you have to throw the "urban thing " around like we haven't heard it enough!! GROW UP!!
