This is a rule I live by. Now, before you let your mind wander into the gutter remember this is a hair blog, not a dating blog. So my friends I'm not talking about a man but rather one of the hottest accessories today: a scarf.
As I mentioned in a previous post my hair can't get enough moisture. I'm constantly battling dryness and split ends. I certainly can't afford to go to bed without some protection. Without anything between me and my sheets my hair is robbed of oil and moisture necessary to keep it healthy and growing. Therefore, when I lay down a night, I've got a satin scarf over my wrapped hair. Granted, it's much cheaper than the ones celebs are rocking but it does the trick. Now, there are different ways to wrap your hair at night. Traditionally, I wrap from right to left and secure with bobby pins. Here are photos showing another fantastic method to wrapping your hair. Be sure to scroll down to see images. Whatever your method or trick, I can't tell you how important it is keep your head wrapped with a satin or silk scarf. Even a satin pillow is a great idea if you don't want to go to bed looking like Aunt Jemina. You can pick up this accessory at a nearby beauty store or head to Tenderheaded.com. I purchased some affordable satin pillow cases for my mother one year. Okay, BV. I'd love to get your thoughts and ideas. Please drop off a comment below.
Celebrities like Nia Long, Nicole Richie and Kimora Lee Simmons keep their heads cool with cute scarves from Gucci or Hermes. However, this popular head gear is also essential for keeping dry hair moist while you're sleeping.

Why Wear Full Lace Wigs
Lace wigs are the Wigs the Celebrities wear. Celebrities like Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Kelly Roland, Britney Spears, and Patti Labelle, just to name a few wear these types of wigs.
Full lace wigs look like your natural hair. They are made from human hair and can be parted and worn in a high ponytail.
The application of a full lace wig can be done in about an hour compared to the 4 to 8 hours it take to put in a weave

Whether you are experiencing hair loss, or just want a fabulous new look, a lace front wig is a great hair option. Once a secret among celebrities, lace wigs are now widely available and affordable.
A lace front wig is a wig made with human hair tied to a lace base. The two types of lace used in lace front wigs are French lace and Swiss lace. A "lace front" wig has lace at the hairline that is secured with liquid adhesive or tape. When the lace is adhered to your own hairline, it gives an invisible hairline, making it look as though the hair is growing out of your scalp.
All of our lace front wigs are made with Remy hair. Remy (or Remi) hair is the complete hair strand and has not been weakened by stripping. Remy hair is created by careful processing which leaves the cuticle in place. The result is stronger, superior hair. Still, this hair has undergone some processing (such as cleaning, curly perming or dyeing), so it should also be treated gently. Remy hair is often referred to as "cuticle hair" because the cuticle is left intact. Hair that is stripped of the cuticle is often chemically treated to give the hair an artificial softness and shine, which wears down over time, causing tangling and a poor appearance. Remy hair does not have this problem and is the highest quality hair you can purchase.

I totally agree with the satin wrap for our hair. The one I use is made in the Dominican Republic by Spartan Brands. I have been using this scarf for the past two weeks and have noticed a difference in my hair growth and texture. The label reads: Magic Satin Wrapping Scarf with Built-In Satin Gro Treatment. At the bottom of the package, it says Built-In Growth Promoters for Longer, Stronger Hair While You Sleep! At the top right hand corner, you should see Cristina TM Style 1220. This is a genuine product and I strongly recommend it for use. It has worked wonders on my hair. There is even a website on the back of it for feed back. The address is feedback@spartanbrands.com. One more thing: This scarf should not be washed at all and it is advised that you change the scarf every 2 months for good results. Hope this information helps all women who want to see good changes in their hair.

I am glad that scarves are back especially for women who are battling cancer and need to feel comfortable around everyone else. If you are out there celebrate yourselves and wear those scarves with courage and strength.
