The reality television show that generated tons of buzz when it debuted on CBS in 2000 has been exceptionally
good this season. Like all reality shows, the cast really can make or break a show.
And there have been past seasons of 'Big Brother' that have been a total snooze (Season 4 comes to mind), but not Season 8.
Not when you have contestants like Jameka Cameron, a 29-year-old school counselor from Maryland, who dropped this gem of a line last week:
"God is so gangsta, that's what i love about him."
Easily the best line this season and arguably on the history of the show. The star/asshole of the house is a guy who is appropriately named Dick, a 44-year-old bartender who also has a daughter in the house (Daniele).
Never afraid to speak his mind, he is the leader of the Late Night Crew, the main alliance in the house.
I could go on and on about this show and how Jen is the most self-absorbed girl ever but I will save that post for another day.

Hey, she better get that phrase copywritten before someone beats her to the punch. I could definitely see "God is so gangsta" on a t-shirt.

Yea check it, I caught that episode as well, when J said that. This chick is on point and just too fine. But tell me what yall think, are most of these shows "gun shy" about having more than one Black person participate, let alone a Black man? Seems they may think we add too much volitility to the mix? But I guess I shouldn't sound off too much on that because since they had Tyson Beckford on that one show a few years ago and he basically took all the women, everytime they get a Black guy he's either a flaming gay dude or some type of fat fluffy character.

Funny thing is, is that she's taken a lot of flak for that statement from mainstream America. They think because the chic drops the F-bomb she's a fake christian. Most of the cbs message boards are talking about how they hate her for her fake christianity. It's a trip to see when someone finally does speak about god on TV then America has a fit. I love the show as well and I indeed hope that Jen makes it to at least the final 3. I don't think she's anymore stuck on herself than the rest of them. Most people don't like her because she's pretty and has a nice body and knows that she does. Nothings wrong with owning up to what you have and being proud of it. What the rest of the BB crew doesn't know is that chic is smart too. She has dual majors. Child development and Architecture. She's not a dumb bimbo. She just plays one on tv.

One the one hand Jameka is a rather positive image for black women...but God ordaining her to save Jen from the nomination block? Give me a break! Right now she is in a pretty good spot, considering that she's not a target on anyone's list...but she's a boring player, because she contributes absolutely nothing to the game. She is lucky that people like her, because she doesn't seem capable of making a strategical decision.

Don't watch the show, but it seems Jameka, keeps the stereotype that BLACK WOMAN ARE ROUGH, alive.
Why can't we be dainty, with class, and poise? Where in ROUGH relationships, we have ROUGH children, we act ROUGH.
SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING A GUY WOULD SAY.
