This story slipped between the cracks last week, but it's so amazing that it's worth writing about. The Independent Film Channel (IFC) has acquired the 10 new installments of R. Kelly's 'Trapped In The Closet.'
'Trapped In The Closet' Chapters 13-22 is scheduled to be released on DVD on August 21, and is the latest saga in the "hip-hopera" from Kells.
IFC will air the original 12 episodes as well, streaming all 22 episodes on IFC.com.
Best news ever.
Once R. Kelly introduced the midget into the story, I told myself that he was stretching for material, but I'm willing to let that slide for 10 new chapters.
If that didn't brighten up your Monday, I don't know what will.

We African Americans can't be this ignorant. R Kelly is a grown man. That was a little girl. I don't care if she had sex with 10 other boys...he is a grown man. When grown men have sex with little girls, it's called rape (however willing it seems that she was). He is the grown man, he knew better, even if she didn't. That little girl is going to be tarnished for the rest of her life and all you're concerned with is how good you think his music is. He's still a rapist. No, not because I said do but simply because of what he's done. We have to do better as a people.
