Who says a brotha can't get a second chance? Isaiah Washington will return to network television in the fall on NBC.
Washington will guest star in five episodes of a new NBC project titled 'Bionic Woman,' which is a remake of the 1970s series.
That's only the beginning for the former Grey's Anatomy star.
The network is also developing an idea that the 43-year-old actor pitched for a show that is expected to hit the air in 2008-09.
Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios compared the opportunity of signing Washington to "It's like A-Rod leaving the Yankees in midseason."
Isaiah Washington is no Alex Rodriguez.
It would be more like Milton Bradley getting traded at the trade deadline.
But enough baseball talk - all you Washington fans - what do you think about your boy bouncing back on his feet and do you think he will be on his best behavior at NBC?

As a Talent, Isaiah is awesomely astute. Yet, based upon my well and intimately connected hollywood friends who actually worked on the show, His ego needed some deflating. Although, I never trully felt he was homophobic, I felt whatever happened to him was for his greater good in a spiritual sense. He needed to check and humble himself. When you are blessed like he is, you defeat or weaken the purpose of your talent by being arrogant and egotistical. I just hope the true beauty and heart of his character and talent will now have a chance to shine and be recognized on a greate level without his ego getting in the way. I am happy for him..

you can't go around and make negative comments about people. Gay's are humans just like us. Isaiah put me in the mind of OJ Simpson he was so dam arrogant and thought he was untouchable...you see he can't even get a job delivering pizza. Another thing. You don't have to agree with homosexual lifestyle but you must treat them as humans themselves or else society is no longer civilized. Atheists are allowed to get married, share a life and health insurance with each other. While we are at it. Let's seek them out and burn them at the stake. Think about that.

He may have been fired from Grey's Anatomy as much for his raging arrogance as what he actually said. Arrogance is very hard to take, especially from one still learning his craft. It's about respect. Respect your co-workers and respect the experienced professionals. When they want your opinion, they'll ask for it.

I agree with Ernestine God loves the sinner(homos) but he hates the sin(homos life style). Felicia I have never discuss any type of punishment for homos. God will punish the homos for their sins. I am tired of people stated that quoting the Bible is spreading hatred. God stated that homosexuality is an abomination in his sight. I guess that makes God a homophobe and homo are going ask God to attend homo rehab. Morality is the issue. Homosexuality is a sin. I beleive in the arm forces policy- dont ask dont tell. Keep their perverded acts behind close doors. Stop asking me to give them rights that God has refused them. ARE HOMOS RIGHTS MORE IMPORTANT THAN GODS WORDS?
