So each year the organizers of the 'BET Awards' work to surprise viewers with a top-secret performance. Usually the secret is a surprise guest (Michael Jackson), a big reunion (The Fugees) or maybe even a first-time duet (possibly this year?). Most years, I've scooped BET by learning who the secret performer(s) will be, though I never fully disclose the act (mainly because I genuinely like Stephen Hill, BET's Senior VP of BET Music Programming and Talent). Now a little birdie told what is expected this year, but of course I can't give you a full spoiler. But that doesn't mean I can't offer a few options and let you choose!
A. Beyonce Knowles & LeToya Luckett
B. Michael Jackson & Prince
C. Jennifer Holiday & Jennifer Hudson
D. Monica & Brandy
E. Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown
Murray was also on the Tom Joyner Morning Show discussing the blind item, which you can listen to here.
Personally, I would love to see Michael Jackson & Prince but I won't hold my breath for those two to come together on stage at the same time.
We shall see tomorrow night!

I WOULD PERSONALLY LOVE TO SEE BRANDY AND MONICA PERFORM SOMETHING TOGETHER, NOT "THE BOY IS MINE" BUT SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF!!!! I THINK THAT WILL BE A GOOD LOOK ON BOTH TALENTED WOMEN AND ALSO IN THE RnB AREA WHERE REAL TALENT IS LACKING AMONGST WOMEN!! IT'S LIKE A COMPETITION WHO IS SEXIER, WHO SOLD MORE, WHO AND WHAT BEYONCE IS DOING!!! BEYONCE IS OVER-RATED AND POP!!!!! I DO NOT WISH TO SEE HER AND LETOYA PERFORM!!!
I THINK IT WILL BE GREAT FOR BRANDY & MONICA, TO SEE THEM PERFORM SOMETHING THAT HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE SO WE CAN SEE WHERE THEY HAVE GROWN VOCALLY!!!!
SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Michael Jackson however I'd love to see Beyonce Knowles & LeToya Luckett It's clear these two were the "voices" of destiny's child, it would be refreshing to have someone sing with "B" with out fading into the backround..XO

I would love to see LeToya and Beyonce perform together without Beyonce trying to steal the spolight. Sometimes Beyonce needs to take the high road and realize that EVERYTHING is not always about just her.

It'll probably be Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Holiday, nothing special. The other ones just seem impossible and improbable.

I watched the BET Awards last night, and to me, it was a good show. I didn't know who Jennifer Holiday was, and didn't find out until I read your article. She looks fantastic!!! I think I like Diana Ross again.(I stopped liking her after the group became Diana Ross & the Supremes) I really enjoyed what she had to say. The tribute to James Brown was very, very good. I really enjoyed the tribute to "G". Gerald Levert was the MAN. I tried not to cry.... it didn't work. The entire show was good.
