Tavis Smiley and others will soon figure out that there must be more of how to address the Black agenda from the bottom up and not top down. Until people at the bottom feel a sense of ownership, they are not responding properly or as needed to the directions from the top down, or is no one noticing -- or care?

I respect Kathy Hughes and her accomplishments however I'm disappointed in her comments on the Tom Joyner show regarding Obama. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but when you have a heavy influencer of the Black community tell her listening audience that Obama has not shown her anything and maybe he needs to get a few bills passed in the Senate for experiance before she wages in is obsurd at best. She worked hard to get to where she is why not give our creditable and desrving Black cadidate a chance and a few kind words of encouragement.
